About

Why we built .

Getting repair work priced fairly is slower and more adversarial than it should be. Homeowners get door-knocked and pushed to sign. Contractors bid blind on inconsistent scopes. We built a better rail for the whole process, starting with roofing.

The short version

Built by the people who live with the problem.

The way roof work gets priced today wastes everyone’s time. Homeowners get door-knocked by storm chasers and pushed to sign on the spot. Contractors grind out bids on inconsistent scopes and never know what they’re really up against.

bidRAIL was built by licensed contractors, real estate agents, and property investors who kept hitting the same wall: deals stall and repairs drag when nobody can get a fast, accurate bid from a licensed contractor. So we built the tool we kept wishing existed.

bidRAIL is a neutral marketplace. We measure the property once, let vetted contractors compete on their own real pricing, and hand the homeowner a clean comparison, up to three competitive bids on one identical scope. We never sell you as a lead. The bid is the price, and the work gets seen through to completion.

No inflated metrics. No borrowed testimonials.

We’re an early-stage company launching our Wave-1 pilot now. We’d rather earn trust with completed jobs than with claims we can’t back up yet, so you won’t find either on this site.

What we believe

Transparency

Everyone (homeowner, agent, and contractor) sees the same scope and the same numbers. No black boxes, no surprises.

Fair competition

Vetted contractors compete to win each job on real pricing. A true marketplace, not a pre-assigned, managed-repair lock-in.

Real numbers

Bids are built from contractors’ own approved pricing: actionable prices from people ready to do the work, not negotiating placeholders.

See it through

A bid is a promise. We stay involved after the award and coordinate the work to completion.
